Description

A Philippines Oc ! ; v ; I tried to make her look slightly different from the other, uh, Philippines ocs, or fcs, so I hope it isn't cliché and too same with others !!

Appearance:

Philippines has dark curly brown hair with black hair swept on the right side of her face, let loosely, accompanied by dark brown eyes. She has a triple star clip, which represents the three biggest lands in her archipelago, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, which were named after a lady by the name of Luzviminda. She has a bunch of Sampaguita flowers which is the national flower of the Philippines.
She wears a necklace which has the sun with 8 rays, which represents the 8 provinces that fought against Spain, them being Batangas, Bataan, Cavite, Nueva Ecija, Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, and Pampanga.
She's wearing a simple Baro't Saya clothing, the Kerchieves seems to be left out. Her skin being fairly tanned for staying outside for too long, and because of the heat that the country had. ( however in the picture above, her skin is obviously miscolored =_= ) She's wearing matching Bakya sandals to match her skirt.

Personality and Interests:

Philippines is a very strong-willed woman, she too is very adventurous, thus she's always out and about. She is very religious, she believes that God truly exists, ( though through a bit of 'help' by Spain. ) She loves activities and festivals, since her country has many festivals. Philippines can be reliable for chores, but she gets lazy at some point, the heat helping her get even lazier. Sometimes, she can be a hopeless romantic, but that was only because of a story of 'Florante at Laura'. She loves cracking up corny jokes and some puns here and there, and she's bad at jokes.
But when someone makes a bad joke, she laughs and says it's terrible, but really corny. She is usually care-free, but when she gets nervous, she worries alot and gets scared easily. She loves scaring people, but she fails most of the time. She's probably half Sadist, and gets mad if someone insults her precious Mangoes or anyone she cares for, and she's a very sarcastic gal, which was always accompanied by a deadpanned stare.

Relationships:

America:
She likes him for helping her with her problem with Japan, and sees him as a reliable big brother figure. Although, she's very grateful for his help, but she couldn't help but be slightly annoyed that he sometimes walk and command stuff and act as if he owns the Country. She didn't have a problem with his English and was pretty much used to it, and spoke English almost just like him. She wants to grow up to be as strong and wondeful America is, but else fails as her poor government fails, she sulks but still prays to be like him. She spells his name 'Amerika', and calls him 'Kuya'. ( but when she gets sarcastic, she calls him 'Idol' while clapping slowly )

China:
She thinks he's really cool and all that stuff, but even until now, she still mad at him for calling her West Philippine Sea, South China Sea. She even tried to befriend him, telling him that they should forget about the sea. But all that went aside when she started to lose that friendly vibe and say that the Sea was originally hers. Other than the Sea problems, she actually thinks he's a cool guy, she loves his little dumplings and her country sells Chinese food to show that she loves them.

Japan:
At the WWII, She was attacked by Japan, and she lost many people because of that. However, all of that had been forgotten and she thinks of Japan like a brother. She loves the anime and even tried dubbing some episodes of some animes that she wanted. She wanted to learn how to draw like him, and still needs training. Although at times, they instead fought with Arnis when they wanted to. She'd occasionally visit him atlease once or twice a month, but sometimes, she just left her country on summer just to go to the colder country.
